Hi, my name is ABBY ROSE and I'm about two years old. It's been difficult to get a good read on me, and that's why it has taken a while to get my profile written.
Anyway, I get along okay with other dogs most of the time, but my foster mom says I should be an only dog. I don't like other dogs competing with me for treats, and I really don't like them touching me when I am sleeping. Even outside, I antagonize some of the other dogs, and don't let up at all. Bottom line is that I am really bossy, and not all other dogs appreciate that, so I get to be an only dog, which is fine by me!
I am very affectionate with my person, and have good house manners. I am kind of shy with visitors, so a more laid back home without a lot of social activities will be best.
I am very gentle with adults, and do okay with older kids, too. I've been tested on cats, and did just fine, but it is not known how I would do if I had the cat competing with me for treats and/or attention, so caution is advisable in such situations.
I love treats (waffles with cool whip are a favorite!), and love to play fetch, too. Do you like to play, too? Fostered by Alissa in TN.
