Hi, my name is ABE (honest!) and I'm a six year old Irish Red & White Setter. Please forgive me if I don't get up, as I am quite comfortable laying around. In fact, my favorite place to lay is in your lap!!!
My foster mom says I am super sweet, not to mention very handsome and incredibly smart (after all, I did find my way into the Save Our Setters program, right?).
I do pull on lead, and have the energy of a puppy. I am very fond of my foster dad, Roger, and like to lay on top of him, especially in bed. My redheaded sister, MEGAN, isn't real fond of me, but I think it's because I am not sophisticated like she is. The cat and I ignore each other.
My foster mom is learning more about me, and I about living indoors as a full-fledged member of a family. Pretty cool, eh?
Stay tuned for updates. I'm sure I'll make lots of mistakes, but smart dogs learn from their mistakes so that they can become terrific companions! Oh, and my foster mom says she'll take more pics of me, too!
