Hi, my name is ANNIE and I'm six years old. I would prefer NOT to be called "Orphan Annie"!! They took good care of me at the Humane Society, but I was really excited to be going to a new place.
I am a petite redhead with all of the feathers! Don't let the white rings around my eyes fool you, I really am six years young, and I love to go for walks and play in the yard in the sunshine!!
I learn very quickly, and have been working very hard on sitting at the door and letting my foster parents go out first. They are so proud of me! I smile all of the time, and my tail wags even in my sleep. I am just a happy-go-lucky girl who loves to be around people!!
The only vice I have is that I do enjoy my own space. I never go after any of the other pets here, but if I am surprised when one of them comes too close, I may react with a quick snap to let them know they are in my space. I have never done this with people... I love people of all shapes!
The nice lady at the Humane Society said that I was surrendered because I like to run. I don't know too many dogs that don't like to run, do you? I have had three families since 2006, and my foster family is shocked by this fact... they can't understand why (I told you they are proud of me!!). They say I am a very sweet girl with good manners. What do you think of my little top knot? Most folks think it is very cute!!
