Hi, my name is BONNY and I'm very routine-oriented, even at the tender age of two years. You know how it is... you do the same thing every day, day-in and day-out, seven days a week, three hundred sixty five days a year.

Here is my routine. First, I get up, eat a light breakfast, then sit down with a cup of coffee and read the morning paper. I have a servant hold the paper for me so I can have all four paws free to attend to other things such as answering my cell phone. Any headline that says "party" certainly gets my attention!

As for the Saints and the Colts, I really don't follow either team, but I'll be rooting for the Saint Bernards for obvious reasons. I happen to be a huge fan of the Fighting Irish and the Crimson Tide!

After a nap to let my breakfast settle a bit, I'm off to the gym. A girl has to stay in shape, you know. After a vigorous workout, I retire to the sauna for a little while, then hit the showers. Of course, being so famous, gorgeous, and lovable, I do have to deal with paparazzi taking pictures of me at the most awkward times.

After a long afternoon nap, it's time to get ready for the evening event. This evening, it's a fund-raiser for Save Our Setters, Inc. I love fundraisers, especially when I really believe in the cause!

I think my red hair got me the Guest of Honor seat. Truthfully, I can't tell you when my ancestors came over from the Old Country, but I do know there is Irish blood flowing through my veins going back many, many generations.

My clothier is very talented.  Don't you agree?

There is no telling how late I will be getting home, so we'll end the walk-through of my daily routine at this point. If you are attending the fundraiser, please look for me. If your schedule is such that you are unable to attend, I hope you believe in the cause, too, and will make a donation.

UPDATE 5/5/10: I was moved to TN to work on my manners and to get a behavioral assessment. I was crated a lot at first, but gradually earned privileges as I learned what was and what was not acceptable behavior. I now have full freedom inside and outside, and am getting lots of exercise!

I will still growl at other dogs that get in my face, but am terrific with the ones that aren't so pushy. VOGUE and I are best buddies, and we do almost everything together. We enjoy harassing the pond denizens (those bullfrogs can jump a long ways!), and chasing each other all over the place is fun, too.

I am very well-behaved in the house as long as I am not left alone uncrated. You see, I have separation anxiety, and will do everything I can to get to where you are. If left inside uncrated, the results of my efforts can be rather ugly, if you know what I mean. If outside, I will find a way to get out of the fence - you can bet on it!

I also behave differently when restrained, regardless of whether it is a leash or an enclosure. I've been doing better at controlling myself in this foster home since my foster mom made it perfectly clear that I am not the one in charge. Even so, I will growl and possibly snap in the direction of another dog that is irritating me.

Anyway, it will be a few weeks before I'll be ready for my new forever home, since I need to have my liver values checked again in a couple of weeks. I hope that my new forever home will have a large area for me to explore, and maybe even a pond!
