Hi, my name is BRANDY, and I am such a handsome gentleman, as you can plainly see. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was thinking that I had done something terribly wrong to have to leave my family after 11 years. My foster mom assured me that I am beautiful and can find a forever home with someone just as special as I am. She says I am the bestest dog ever!
I am great with all people. I love kids, and get along fine with all dogs - even that big ol' Great Dane. I am interested in cats, but am learning that I should just ignore them. I can sit and lie down on command. I can be left in the house all day and I do just fine. I walk politely on the leash and love walks and attention, but come in and settle down immediately afterwards.
I sleep on my blanket and don't get on the furniture. Mom says I still have "glide in my stride" and no one should think I am feeble or crochety. I can romp and play and woof at squirrels. I will require thyroid pills for the rest of my life, but that's nuttin', cuz I sit and wait for my pill and take it like the honest citizen that I am. Low thyroid is pretty common, and can cause hair to fall out. Can you see that in the pics? It will grow back in time!
Mom says I have to mention my vice, so here it is... I love bread. YUM! What? Okay, Mom. My vice is when I drink, I sometimes slobber. So there, I said it.
My foster mom says I can stay with her forever, but it leaves less room for any dogs that need really special help and love, so we hope to find a forever home for me with someone who wants a trusty, loving pal and who will take me on a walk and show me off. Fostered by MaryAnn in VA.
