Hi my name is BUDDY. I am a three year old Field Irish Setter. I love to run around the yard pointing birds and chasing bugs. I would love to be an only dog, but should be okay with a female doggy companion.
I love children, but would do best with older children. I have been known to try to take food from little ones' hands. I also don't like anyone to try to take food from me, and I will protect it. I am also protective of my people, and will let you know if a stranger is around.
I love to be hugged and kissed. I am not fond of cats, and I like to chase them. I am very lovable and loyal to my family. I will need a little brush up with my house manners. I sometimes like to see what my foster mom is fixing for supper, but she really doesn't like that so she puts up a gate to keep me from the kitchen and that works well.
