Notes: Hello!! I'm CARAT (short for CARAT TOP), aptly named because I have a white spot on the top of my head shaped like the carat symbol on a computer keyboard, whatever that is. I've heard them use the term "Palmerston", so I guess I'm not the only Irish Setter that had this marking. I am very well behaved most of the time, and I love lots of attention! I do have Alpha tendencies, so I would not do well with other Alpha dogs. I am learning to not jump on people, and to not bark for attention. UPDATE: My oh my!! She has become such a love!! She is probably the most gentle Irish Setter I have ever had the pleasure of knowing!! She gives incredibly soft kisses, and is very careful taking treats. She doesn't do well with cats, and is too protective of her humans to live in an apartment complex. Other than that, she is truly a wonderful companion!! Fostered by Alissa in TN.
