Hi, I'm CHARLIE!! I'm a six year old boy who loves to be with people. I am a very gentle boy. I know how to prance like royalty, but can really chase after a ball, too. I don't like to brag too much, but I do have wonderful house manners and I know several commands, including fetch. Everyone says I'm so beautiful for a ball-fetching boy, but I don't let that go to my head. Looks only get you so far.
Luckily, I've been blessed with a good mind, a warm heart, and a talent for playing fetch. I have a long coat and will need regular grooming, especially after chasing the ball. I love being with people but will take naps in my crate from time to time. I don't mind being alone and won't bother anything while I am alone. I am truly a wonderful dog who loves to play ball!
Did I mention that I like to play fetch??? I did? Oh, okay. In that case, I'll tell you that I get along okay with most other dogs, but would rather be an only dog. I'm a dominant kind of guy, which can intimidate some dogs.
I have food allergies, so I will need a special diet, but I am worth it. Besides, it just makes sense that special food would be best for such a special boy! I may also be allergic to some outdoor stuff, but nothing that you and your vet couldn't fix. I'd better not be allergic to tennis balls!! Fostered by Kathryn in VA.
