Hello my name is Clancy I am five years old. You would never guess I am five because I act like I'm three. I was in a bad place before my foster mom took me in, but I have made a full recovery. That's that ol' Irish spirit, ya know!
I love to swim, get my hair brushed, play fetch, and play with my dog siblings. I love all friends big and small, with and without fur. I know how to sit, stay, lay down, come, no begging, and no. I do require a fence so that I can safely play and burn off some energy. Going for walks is great, but I should warn you that I will pull on a leash the first several minutes of walking just because I'm so excited to actually be going for a walk.
I'm great with children of all ages and am fine with cats, too. I love to ride go for rides in the car. I am a bit of a talker, mostly when I want to play, but no excessive barking. I like to play with doggy toys.
Now that I am ready to go to a fur-ever home, I must tell you that I do have some demands. I am a bit of a hog, and want to be the center of attention. That means that I want a home that has lots of love to give, and no alpha dogs that will try to keep me away from the humans.
My new family must be fairly active to keep me from getting bored. As you know, a tired dog is a well-behaved dog! I am very smart, so mental stimulation is important, too. Walks where I can discover new things, and trips with my humans to all kinds of places should do the trick!
