EMMIE
Hello, my name is EMMIE.  I am about eight months old and as you can see I am very cute!   I have the softest and deepest mahogany coat and beautiful deep set brown eyes.  I love to cuddle with my foster Mom on the sofa; of course, my head has to be in her lap!  Do ya think that's why she calls me "M.E."?

When I'm not getting lovings, I generally can be found bouncing from sofa to recliner or playing with Clancy the 4 year old IRWS.  We run from one end of the house to other.  Mom's bed makes for a soft landing on the one end!  Murphy (an Irish Setter, just like me!) says he does not want anything to do with another dog in his house stealing his mom's hugs and kisses.  Mo simply wants nothing to do with me.  I am pretty submissive to all of the boy dogs, and will even lay down under their heads!  SO WHY WON'T THEY PLAY WITH ME?

I've learned  how to stretch myself close to the top of the 6' fence, so Mom is afraid I might get really excited and decide to clear fence.  Mom says M.E. needs a home or yard to burn off all of my Setter energy!

I will cry to go outside, or for food and water.  I'm still not sure I will get regular meals (even tho I've had three smaller meals per day since I came here),  so I do countersurf, tablesurf, etc.  I am still very thin, but Mom says I should put on weight gradually, darn it!  The humans had chicken for lunch and I tried to tell Mom that I would like some of the chicken (how about all of it, Mom?).

When the grandkids come to visit, I cry to get out of my crate and be with the babies.  After supper, Mom took me outside for potty break.  I ran back to the house and tried to push door open to be with the youngsters!

Mom says that I will be a real sweetheart for someone who has room for me to run and burn off energy.   I already know 'sit' and 'come'.  I'm not too good with 'off', but I'm learning!

That is all I can think of to tell you about M.E., 'cept that Mom calls me her Miss Louisiana Love Bug!!!
