Hi, my name is GINGER and I am three years old. I came into rescue because my Mom is in the hospital in a coma.
I've settled into my foster home very well, and I get along great with the dogs here as long as they aren't being wild and crazy - I don't like being bumped or stepped on! I also don't like anyone hovering around my crate when I am eating or trying to sleep. By Irish Setter standards, I am calm. I am very friendly with people.
I am housetrained and crate trained, and have never had an accident here. Rumor has it, however, that I would punish my Mom when she didn't pay enough attention to me by peeing in the house, kinda like a male dog will mark his territory. Girl dogs can mark, too, you know!
I will be ready to go to my new forever home soon! I sure hope my new family likes to play and give lots of lovins, cuz I want all the attention I can get! I'd rather not have to share with other dogs, but I'd be okay with one or two other dogs as long as they are nice dogs who will give me my space.
