Hi, my name is GORDO and I'm about five years old. I am as sweet and affectionate as they come, wanting nothing more than to cuddle and be loved on! My foster mom says she can't get any good pictures of me because I won't stay far enough away from her for her to take pictures of anything but my nose! Oh, and I wiggle too much. Being around humans is just so exciting! (It took two people, but we finally got him to hold still long enough to get some good pics!!)
I'm okay with other dogs as long as they are okay with me, but meeting them causes me to be on the defensive, so maybe a home with no other dogs would be best. That way, I don't have to share my humans!! I crave any kind of attention. I'll even chase a ball as many times as you want to throw it. The only catch is you have to go get it, because I'm not going to bring it back to you!
I was at the shelter for two weeks, and passed their temperament test. I spent some time having three kids (8 and under) gang up on me, and I loved every minute of it! (Of course, the kids needed baths after I got through licking them.)
So tell me, why was a sweet, affectionate boy like me turned into the shelter? My former family said I growled and lunged at their five year old. If true, the kids who ganged up on me want to know what the five year old did to me. They thought I was a lot of fun, and I thought they were a lot of fun, too!
Note from GORDO: I have one request... that my new forever home has butterflies? I really love to hunt butterflies!!!
