Hello, my name is HONEY. I am about one year old and as you can see I am very pretty! Aren't my babies precious? I was far too young to have babies, but am doing okay.
I had a total of nine babies, but not all of them were healthy. One died shortly after being born. The next one died the following day because of a birth defect that made the contents of the stomach leak out. The last one to die was the runt - only half the size of the others, and Momma detected the body temperature of the runt was too low, so she stopped caring for the little one, and pushed the pup out.
The remaining six appear to be healthy, and are nursing and gaining weight. They will all be checked by the vet at eight weeks of age, wormed, and given their first set of shots.
