Hi, my name is LADY and I'm ten years old. I'm petite, and still very active, so don't think for a second that I'm a pushover! I love people, but can be afraid at times, so my new family will need to be patient with me while I learn to trust. It won't take long - I promise!!
I am crate-trained, and haven't had a single accident in the house. I'm usually very quiet, but will sound the alarm when appropriate. I'm fine with other dogs, and am okay with cats, too (though I may want to chase them at times). I tolerate cats much better if I get to know them as kittens. I walk pretty well on lead, but could use some more practice.
I have a good appetite, and have already put on some much needed weight, but could use some more groceries. I will protect my food bowl from other dogs, but am fine with human adults messing with my food. For a girl who lived outside her whole life, I've adjusted very well to being an inside dog. You see, I always knew that Setters are human-oriented, and want to be with their people!!
When I hear my human, I get very excited! I even do a little dance! If you'll shower me with love and affection, I'll be the best companion anyone could ever want!!!
