Hi! I'm LIRIEL, a 3 year old Gordon Setter who weighs in at 30 pounds (the perfect lap size!). I'm a sweet little girl who loves both kids and adults. I like to be with my humans as much as possible! I prefer to be out and about with everybody, but will crate up when needed. I get along well with the other dogs, but do fine by myself as well. Did I mention that I like my humans??
I walk nicely on lead. Even my foster parent's eight year old daughter is able to walk me! I like rawhides, but haven't shown a lot of interest in other toys. When I am in my crate, I have a nice blanket to lay on and I haven't shredded it (just in case you were wondering).
My foster parents say that I'd make a nice addition to just about any household. If you have a lap that needs a dog, please consider adopting me! Thanks for looking.

See the records for me on the right? Gosh, according to these records, I was only four weeks old when I got my first vaccination. I also got two wormers on the same day! Even with all these vaccinations, I was very sick with an upper respiratory infection at the puppy store, and a really nice lady just couldn't leave me there to die, so she bought me and took me to the dog-ter to make me well.
Note that I turned eight weeks old on 8/23. The records fail to state exactly when I was transported from Missouri to Illinois, or when I went to live with the broker who bought me from the breeder then sold me to Petland.
I do know that the Federal Laws are very specific as to when I can be moved. Look at what the Animal Welfare Act requires:
§ 2.101 Holding period.
(a) Any live dog or cat acquired by a dealer or exhibitor shall be held by him or her, under his or her supervision and control, for a period of not less than 5 full days, not including the day of acquisition, after acquiring the animal, excluding time in transit
§ 2.130 Minimum age requirements.
No dog or cat shall be delivered by any person to any carrier or intermediate handler for transportation, in commerce, or shall be transported in commerce by any person, except to a registered research facility, unless such dog or cat is at least eight (8) weeks of age and has been weaned.
