Hi, my name is LITTLE JOE and I'm about five months old. I'm still a puppy, so puppy behaviors are to be expected. I think I'm pretty normal for my breed and age, but for those who have never experienced an Irish Setter puppy, it can be quite a shock! Does "Red Tornado" conjure up any visions?
These pics were taken when I was feeling good. I was trying to determine my future career, and had to rehearse for a multitude of auditions, as you can see.
I'm settling into my foster home very quickly, and I get along great with the dogs here (even the mean blonde queen, who is pretty confused about this little redhead that noses her out of the way). I think she is just being tolerant of me since I've not been feeling well.
On that subject, I made a trip to the Doggy ER on July 4th. I was in excrutiating pain. After a thorough exam and x-rays, they gave me some meds to help me be comfortable. I'll go see my regular dog-ter this week to check me over again.
Fostered by Cindy in AZ.

Rehearsing my Lipizzaner moves.
Unable to decide between figure skating, ballet, and break dancing, I finally just combined the three art forms into one, and invented the Red Tornado dance!
I flapped and flapped, but never did get fully airborne for more than a few seconds...
Here I was rehearsing for a role in a James Bond flick. I was very disappointed to learn that only girls get to play the role of looking over one's shoulder while running away...
Me again, playing the role of a good patient who follows Dog-ter's orders.
