Hello, my name is LUCY. I am about four years old and as you can see I will be very pretty! I had to be shaved, but my hair will grow out again. I am heartworm positive, so it will be a while before I will be ready for a new home. I sure could use some donations!!
I am lovable and energetic!! I am housetrained, not aggressive with people or animals. I get along well with other dogs. I am a big beautiful lap dog, and like sleeping in bed with my human.
As I said earlier, I am very energetic and need room to run. I also like to swim. I do dig some, and like to chew on stuff (I get bored!). I could use some improvement with my leash walking skills. I've never been around children, but am pretty high energy, so a family with little ones may not be a good idea. I am not good with cats, either.
If left unattended outside, I'll get bored and will find some excitement by getting out and going out to meet some nice folks that give me lovings.
I love toys, and am somewhat possessive. I found a stuffie shaped like a bone, played with it some, then buried it in foster Mom's office (under some important paperwork, no doubt!). I recovered it many hours later, played some more, and buried it again for safekeeping (same paperwork, though in a slightly less desirable condition as before). Fostered by Alissa in TN.
