Hi, my name is MacARTHUR and I am an Irishman with beautiful, soft eyes and a kind and gentle soul. I like to play with the other dogs and with my humans, but I also love getting (and giving!!) lots of love and hugs.
My favorite toys are my squeaky ball, my nyla-bone and my Kong. I am fine with cats and other dogs. I am well-behaved both in the house and outside. I am housetrained and crate trained although my foster mom seldom puts me in the crate. I am very people-oriented, but I don't like loud voices or cranky attitudes. I just want to be friends, so I try my best to please my humans!
I ride well in the car, but I'm not suitable for going everywhere with my humans cuz I can get a tummy ache. That's okay, though. I really don't mind reclining at home, and greeting you with enthusiasm when you return!
I came to SOS as a stray, so they don't know much about my past. They do know that I was worked with quite a bit, since I know basic commands. My feet were loaded with grass awns that had worked their way under the skin on all four feet and legs - ouch! It took several trips to the clinic to get them all out, but the dog-ter checked me over really good when I was getting my teeth cleaned, and didn't find any new ones.
I'd like for my forever family to have lots of time they can spend spoiling me and loving me, so I can spend most of my time loving them right back! Fostered by Ann in MO.
