months old. I get along
well with other dogs and
am fine with kids, too.
Heck, I'm even good
with cats! I've been
described as a very
friendly, nice dog by
folks who know what
a nice dog is!
I do like to jump on people, but am learning that I shouldn't do that. I am also still very much a puppy, and have been told that it is normal for puppies to chew, but that there are things I can chew, and things I should not chew. I think they named me after Imelda Marcos, 'cuz I really like shoes. Do you think that is why I was dumped in the middle of nowhere in rural northeast Alabama?
Anyway, this nice lady named Lesley saw me hanging around the only gas station in town. She took pity on little ol' hungry me (I'm very skinny and am missing some hair). She took me home and contacted the really nice folks at SOS. Fortunately, SOS had a volunteer close by, and I was soon safe at last!!
With a little bit of patience and a lot of love, I promise I will grow up to be a swell companion!! I have the "friendly" and the "well-socialized" part down pat, so the rest of it is just training!!
