Hi, my name is MISS BEA and I'm six years old. I'm learning that people can be okay, but I can be afraid at times, so my new family will need to be patient with me while I learn to trust. It may take a while, but in the end, it'll be worth the effort!!
I am crate-trained, and haven't had a single accident in the house. I'm very quiet, too. I'm fine with other dogs, and am okay with cats, too (though I may want to chase them at times). I walk pretty well on lead, but could use some more practice. I would not be a good dog for families that are very active. My ideal home will be adults who don't have many visitors, and who stick to the same routine day after day.
I have a good appetite, and will protect my food bowl from other dogs, but am fine with human adults messing with my food. For a girl who lived outside her whole life, I've adjusted very well to being an inside dog. The new sights, sounds, and smells can be frightening, but I'm adjusting slowly but surely.
I do not come when called, and try to hide when I am scared. I need another dog to help teach me how to learn to trust. If you have the love and patience, I promise to give it my best shot, too! Fostered by Emma in TN.
