Hi, my name is MISTY and I'm eight years young. I've been told that I am really a lovely dog, like I didn't know that already!

My Daddy got sick, and just can't care for me and my older brother ELI any more.  If you will adopt both of us, I promise we'll be good (sometimes)!!!

We are fine with other dogs and with cats.  We are not to be trusted with other small animals, though, as we are both waaaaaay too interested in that wascally ol' wabbit!  I've been described as "sneaky".  It must have something to do with the rabbit, but I didn't know I got caught!

Rumor has it that we are going to the vet on Monday.  I will be getting bloodwork and a dental along with a general exam.  Fostered by Kathryn in VA.

Update 6/10/08:  The Dog-ter didn't call me a "train wreck", but said I have some issues, just like ELI.  Unlike ELI, I tested positive for Lymes, so I will be taking meds for a while.  Like ELI,  my teeth are bad, but they think I won't need any extractions, like ELI does.  I am also a little underweight and I have worms, but that's all - so far!!  I figure I'm worth every penny that SOS is spending on making me well.  Don't you agree?

(Note:  MISTY is eating half her dinner, then pushing her bowl towards ELI.  The foster mom suspects that she is returning the favor, since she was in pretty good weight when picked up, while ELI was in very poor body weight.)
