Hi, my name is MOLLY and I'm six years old.  I was born in a puppymill in MO, and was sold to a pet store in CT where my former owner bought me. Here's what my foster mom says about me:

She is a regal, beautiful, loving girl who is VERY happy now that she gets TONS of exercise and can stay outside for a lot of the day. She loves walks, car rides, and running in the field.

She is trained to the electric fence and has a doggy door which she loves. It's a welcome improvement over her previous home where she was tied out on a chain. She prefers to be outside, weather permitting. She would sleep in the garage on a very thick dog bed if she could. I make her come in.

She is okay with other dogs, but needs careful introductions. She is learning how to greet unfamiliar dogs appropriately. Now that she gets lots of exercise, she is improving.

She can relax inside the house and snuggle on the couch; however, she can be a bull in the china shop. She’s enthusiastic, very strong, and jumps up and stands on top of you, just to be sure you know she’s there. She is also an excellent counter-surfer.

She chases bees in the garage or birds in the yard, but doesn’t play ball. She likes to dig in the garden so she has a nice cool spot to relax in or watch for the school bus (it is her duty to bark at this threatening object).

She would not be good with young children. She is very loving, but very strong and would knock them over. She might be best as an only dog. She does get along with my other dogs now, but is not interested in them.

She needs a large fenced or invisible fenced yard and someone who spends a lot of time outdoors. She is not for the faint of heart. She is very enthusiastically full of life!

She is on medication for incontinence, and is doing well - no accidents or leakage. She got a clean bill of health from the vet, and her CBC and SuperChem panels look great! Fostered by Cate in CT.
