Hi, my name is MOLLY and I'm six year old Irish Red & White Setter. Aren't I beautiful? Yeah, I hear that all the time.
In addition to being downright pretty, I have very good manners. I love going for rides in the car, and I am trustworthy left loose in the house, though I do have a doggy door I use. Truth be told, I prefer to stay outdoors when the weather is nice. There is much more stuff to do outside, and I can almost always find something to entertain me, such as chasing squirrels! I've never been around cats, so I don't know how I'd react.
I am okay with other dogs, but prefer to not interact with them that much because I got hurt really bad once while roughhousing. I'd guess you could say I became a bit of a loner, though I like to interact with my humans. I don't like other dogs messing with me when I have food, and I will tell them so. I like playing with toys, and getting lovings is great, too!
I grew up with older children, so I'm not used to really young kids. In fact, I'm really shy, so little ones would probably make me uneasy.
They say that some dogsare super special, and I am one of them! Do you remember when I told you about my getting hurt? Well, I had some damage to one of my front legs. The dog-ter wasn't sure if it would ever work right, so my family elected to have it removed. Once I healed up from the surgery, I was able to resume my active lifestyle, and you'd never know by watching me that I have three legs instead of four!
