Her Foster Mom writes:
This sweet 10 month old is adjusting well. She is house-trained to the point of sleeping all night on the floor by my bed, and sleeping at my feet while watching tv. But she must have been relegated to the back yard all other times, because she knows no commands
(come, sit, down, hey you, stop idiot, oh my god watch out, etc). She is very skinny, and cow-licked all over. So I can't tell if she's young enough that her ribs haven't sprung, or if she's just a slender IS.
We have progressed by Sun am, to her following me everywhere outside! She has decided I am ok people, and has stayed with me since. She had one small fight with Fiona the first day, but now all my dogs except the mini dachshund like her fine. Caley (the dachs) doesn't want any other dog near me, and Morsel is very high-energy in her face.
The funniest thing to watch is Morsel down on her front legs trying to entice a horse to "play" like a dog. Obviously, she has no idea what horses are!!
I don't know why the shelter ladies called her Morsel - she's very tall and gangly. I think of Morsel as a toy dog. I'm trying to find her a Celtic name that fits - she doesn't know Morsel, so I guess it's ok to change it. Fostered by Cat in TX.
