Save Our Setters, Inc.
PADRAIG has been ADOPTED!!!!!
Congratulations Philip, Gail, Austin, and Maggie!!
I am the sweetest boy, and I love lots and lots of attention! I am on the small side, weighing under 50 pounds, but most of that is heart!! Don't let my good looks fool you... I can play fetch and frisbee with the best of them!! I have lots of admirers, but still no one has stepped forward to take me home. I guess I am just TOO handsome to bear!!! My friends at the shelter call me an "Irish Crested". Kinda silly if you ask me, but I don't care because I know they truly love me. You see, I am the only one here that gets to stay in the office all day, and get to sleep in the bedroom at the shelter all night. I am quiet most of the time, and get along well with everyone. I have never had an accident inside, and I am the favorite playmate of all the workers here.
(It is believed that PADRAIG has a condition called Dilute Color Alopecia. This condition is caused by inexperienced breeders trying to breed a different color of dog. It is more common in Dobermans, but Irish Setters can have the genetic defect, too. Hair loss will likely continue. He must be an indoor dog except for potty times. If outdoors for more than a few minutes without protective clothing, sunburn could result. Also, he may be sensitive to cold, so a turtleneck sweater or two would help keep him warm. He would also benefit from skin conditioner.)
If you would like to be my best buddy, please complete the on-line adoption application.
