I am a very happy, healthy, dark red, approximately 2-year-old boy. I love to play and run very fast so I am told I would do best in a fenced yard. I am also quite smart (my foster Mom says so!!), 'cuz I learned to use the dog door quickly. I am housebroken and I don't tear up anything or counter surf. I have excellent manners, and am good with all dogs from Chihuahuas to Great Danes, and cats, too! The cats don't like me much because I want to play with them and so they slap me. I don't retaliate though, unless you count giving them lots of kisses. I gave BOO KITTY a tongue bath the other day. (I think she secretly liked it.) I don't even jump up on people! My foster mom can't imagine why anyone would abandon me, but they did. I was running in a parking lot of a shopping center when the animal control people found me.
I don't walk real well yet on a leash, but I am learning. Mostly I wander back and forth. I don't pull bad; I just don't have the hang of walking at heel position. There is so much to see and sniff that it is hard to concentrate on walking! I do know how to sit for petting, and am learning about laying down when asked. I have a ton of plusses and very few negatives. I guess I do play a lot and I love to run and wrestle with other dogs, and sometimes I pester them to play with me too much. If you had another young dog that likes to play, I would be in heaven. I play fetch pretty good too. Won't you please consider adopting me and loving me forever?
