Hi, my name is PIPPEN and I'm five years old. My foster mom says that I'm the bestest Gordon Setter ever! I think she is exaggerating, but she could be right!
I've settled into my foster home very quickly, and I get along fine with the dogs here. I don't interact with them, but we do peacefully co-exist. I really like people best - so much so that I finally got up the nerve to climb into bed with my foster mom and the other doggies last night when invited. It felt so good to snuggle! My foster mom says I was scared of the thunderstorms or the fireworks, but I'm not going to admit to being a scaredy-dog!
I'm calm, friendly, and well-behaved in the house. When outside, I do my business and then race back inside. I am a leaner, but being a lightweight, I don't knock anyone over. I will get in the way as often as possible, in case you have a few spare hours to just love on me. If you are busy, I am content to lay at your feet and wait.
I am still rather confused due to all the changes of late. You see, my Dad passed away, so I went to stay with a nice lady who does rescue in AR, but she is now in a coma. Other rescue folks came together to help all the dogs in her rescue program as well as her own dogs, so here I am!
