Hi, my name is RASCAL and I'm four years old. I'm a sweetie that loves people and gets along well with other doggies as long as they are nice to me, and not too wild and crazy. I'm fine with cats, too, although I must admit to enjoying a brief game of chase now and then. I don't think the cat likes the game as much as I do.
I'm crate trained and housetrained, and almost never get into stuff. If something is left within easy reach and it's very tempting, well...
I enjoy frolicking inside the fence, and have not tried to get out over the five foot fence. I can get noisy if there is something worthy of my barking at it, but I am typically pretty quiet. I have demonstrated my ability to work gate latches, so a clip on the latch is necessary.
I enjoy human interaction in most things, and have been known to try and crawl into a lap or two. I enjoy fetch and tug, and can be a worthy opponent if you want to tug hard. Most of the time, I'm pretty easy going, though, and will readily give up something, assuming of course that it isn't the piece of bread I just stole off the kitchen counter!
If you live way out in the country, I can be trusted off-lead. I like to chase stuff, and I like to play in the water, too. I readily come when called (unless I am otherwise occupied, like when I have treed a squirrel). You can easily tell when I am occupied. In fact, all the neighbors will know, too! Ruff!!!
I like to sleep in bed with the humans, but am okay sleeping on a bed on the floor, too. I am very quiet all night long. In fact, I don't snore like some of the other boys do!
My big issues are that I am very strong on lead, and I tend to get carsick. I've been told that both of these can be fixed with some work.
