Hi, my name is RORY and I'm about nine years young. In addition to be incredibly handsome (if I do say so myself), I am also a super sweet boy! I pretty much ignore other dogs ('cept for BLAKELY - I like to pick on him for some reason), but am not keen on sharing with others. I don't play with toys much, but am protective of the water bowl while I am drinking, and the same for my food.
It's taken me a while to figure out this rescue thing. You see, I lived my entire life as a companion for a lovely lady. We were the best of buddies, and I sure do miss her a lot. I know that I will see her again when I go to Heaven, too.
I am quiet most of the time, though I will get kinda noisy when there is booming thunder that shakes the house! I have a very soft mouth, and am a perfect Southern gentleman in a lot of ways. Walking on leash is not one of them, though! I pull and pull hard cuz I want to expore! I may have a few years on me, but I'm not old by any stretch of the imagination!
Before I had 'the snip', I would try to mark in the house. I've not had much opportunity to try after surgery, but haven't tried to mark when I did have the chance. Mom thinks that it was just the new digs with several other laddies and, of course, some pretty Irish lasses!!
