Hi, my name is RUEGER and I'm about one year old.  I am a happy-go lucky kind of guy, with good house manners.

I crate up readily, and am generally quiet inside (meal time is the big exception, cuz I don't want you to forget to feed me).

I am good on lead as long as there is nothing interesting to chase.  Hld on if I spot a buterfly, though, cuz it's full steam ahead!  After all, we all are born with a job to do, and my job is to seek out and destroy all butterflies!

So how did a handsome, fun-loving, well-behaved boy like me wind up in rescue, you ask?  Well, it is rumored that I, RUEGER, bit a toddler.  I'm not saying anything that might incriminate me.  However, I will say that, upon leaving the shelter, I stayed a few days with some older kids, and was my typical sweet self the whole time.  Cheryl quickly begged for me to come stay with her so I could eat her three year old.  Boy, was she disappointed that I didn't eat him alive!  After a few hours with the little imp, though, I kinda started to understand why Cheryl wanted me to eat him! My current foster mom says I have a very gentle mouth.  Guess that's three folks that have a hard time believing that I would bite anyone unprovoked.

So here I am, waiting for just the right home for me.  I'd prefer to be the only dog, as Gordons can be somewhat bossy with other dogs.  I've not yet been tested on cats.
