Hello, my name is RUFUS. I am about three years old and as you can see I am very handsome! I am very well behaved in the house, and get along great with the other dogs as long as they don't try to challenge me. You see, I am what they call a true Alpha, and I won't take any nonsense. That is not to say that I am aggressive, because I'm not. I just let them know in a peaceful yet firm manner that the behavior is unacceptable, and they get the picture.
One of my favorite things to do is to play fetch! I love tennis balls!!! It's great fun, and I dance around a lot, which makes my foster mom laugh.
The only really bad thing is that I am very afraid of thunderstorms. I am not destructive, but I do pant a lot, salivate, and shiver. I want to be really close to my humans when the storms come rolling through, and won't tolerate being crated during a storm. Fostered by Alissa in TN.
