Hello!! My name is SADIE. Everyone tells me what a sweet and pretty girl I am! I'm a cross between and Irish Setter and a Golden Retriever. I still have puppy ways and like to play a lot with the other dogs and with my foster mom. Balls that squeak are my favorite!
I need a fence and a big yard to play in. I was raised with very young children, so I am good with them. I like the older kids to play with me. Since I still have a lot of puppy in me, I can get myself in trouble if I am left alone, so I would do better for a while with a crate to keep me safe.
I like to countersurf and tear paper. Shoes and socks are fun, too, so keeping things picked up will be the safest thing for me. I am still a pup, so I should be kept busy with fun things like playing ball, going for walks, and, of course, lots of hugs and petting!
Obedience school is also on my wish list. I am very social and gentle with people and all sizes of dogs. I like to bark at cats but have never hurt one. I could probably have one for a friend if the kitty was part of my family and we were introduced properly.
My feet were quite sore when I came to my foster mom. They are much better now, but I will always need extra supplements and a good diet to keep my toenails healthy. I’m smart and so willing to learn. Do you have the time, patience, and love for me? If you do, then I’ll be the best companion a person could ever want!
