Hi, my name is SAM and I'm about two years old. I'm smaller than the other dogs here, but the best things come in small packages, right?
I have those nasty ol' heartworms, but I'm being treated and will be all better in no time. I can hardly wait, cuz this restricted exercise stuff is not my cup of tea. I'm being good though, cuz I know it's important!
I walk pretty well on lead, and have not tested the five foot chain link fence here. Mind you, I'd rather be out harassing the groundhog population. Problem is, I just don't know when to come home while I'm out loose, and it's just not safe.
I pretty much just tolerate the other dogs, but haven't shown any interest in playing with anyone (not that I'm allowed to...). I checked out a cat in a crate, but showed no interest in her, either. That's not to say that I won't give chase to a cat running from me, but the official cat testing will happen after I am done with the heartworm treatment.
I am pretty laid back, though I do have my moments when I want to run around like a crazy redhead. I've shown a little interest in toys, but am not enthralled with them. Truth be told, I'd rather spend time snuggling in someone's lap!!!
