Hi!  My name is SAMANTHA and I am incredibly bee-yew-tee-ful on the inside, and soon will be on the outside, too!  I am also brilliant (although I'm only five), since us Irish girls are born with brains. The boys don't get their brains until they turn four, and only if they don't miss the UPS truck.

My owner could no longer care for me properly, so the nice folks at Save Our Setters took me in. I loooove my new foster home. I have two other redheads to play with.

When I first arrived, I was a little scared, especially of the big, pushy one who is still too young to have a brain. I had to give him a little growl from time to time when he got too friendly, but I'm not afraid of him anymore; he's such a girly-man!. I even like to play tug with him now.

We have a CAT!!!  She pretty much wants to be left alone, and she lets us all know it. Not being one to puch my luck, I let her be.

I come when called (I especially like being called Sammy Sweet Girl), kennel up when asked, and I've learned to sit. I love to show off and will come over to my foster mom and practice "sitting" in front of her. This doesn't always work out too well... especially if she happens to be walking at the time.

She is so proud of me and how much I've learned in just a few weeks! I take treats very gently, and have been known to sit up and beg. I'm totally trustworthy in the house. I am too much of a lady to ever dig in the trash or surf the counters.

I'm allergic to fleas and have some dermatitis from chewing on my back. I've lost some hair, but I'm getting medications and medicated baths, and new hair is starting to come in. The dog-ter says that my hair will grow back and then I'll be the mostest bee-yew-tee-ful girl ever!

My foster mom says that I am a "velcro dog". I don't know what that means, but I like to follow her everywhere and sit as close as possible. How else can I be the one who gets all the lovins? Works for me!  See, I told you I am brilliant!!
