Hi, my name is SHEMP and I'm about seven years old. I’m a very good boy. Do you happen to have a spare couch that I could sleep on? I really like to take naps on a comfy couch, and if I have to sleep alone, I prefer to do it on a nice, comfy, old couch.
It doesn’t have to be anything fancy - any old couch will do. I promise that, if you will take me in and let me sleep on your comfy old couch, I will make you the center of my universe.
You see, I am a very loving boy. I love people. Other dogs are okay, and I don’t mind cats, but I really, really love people! I’m looking for some special people who will be the center of my universe, and I could be the center of their universe, too. Oh yes, and a comfy couch for napping.
I’m a very smart boy. I know lots of commands like sit, down, drop it, and come. I have never had an accident in my foster house. I know to stay out of the garbage (even if it smells yummy), and to stay off the table and countertops. My only vice is that I love to take naps on a comfy couch.
I also really like stuffies - especially the ones that squeak. Sometimes I’ll play fetch with them, or just toss them in the air and catch them myself. Mostly I just like to carry them around. They make me feel safe and happy.
My foster family can tell you what a sweet boy I am, and how smart I am, and how wonderful a dog I am. Wouldn’t you love to have me be your boy? I would love to be your boy. Oh, and sleep on your couch. Fostered by Mel and Jim in MI.
