Hi, my name is STELLA. I am not sure what it was before, but that is what the hoo-mans call me now. I am not really sure what happened to me, but it must have been something really sad. I do remember that I was found on the OK prairie by the mailman, who felt sorry for me, cuz I was really skinny... too skinny. He took me to the place in town called the pound, cuz he couldn't keep me, but didn't want me to get hurt, and he wanted me to get some food.

I don't know why they call it the pound--oh, wait!!! I went there so I could put on some pounds!! That's it! The people there were really nice, but they couldn't keep me either.  I am not sure why, but they took me to a vet's office, where I got to eat, too.  They called Mr. Phil, cuz they know he helps Irish Setters (those redheads!! sheesh!!!) and they thought he might know someone who would help me. Well, they were right, cuz Mr. Phil called SOS, who called my foster mom, and they worked together so that I could go on a car ride to get into my foster mom's rescue organization.

I'm glad that so many people helped me when I was down on my luck. I am looking better now that I have had food on a regular basis!!!  Oh, yeah, my foster mom says I have to tell you that I can be a bit "talkative" when I want attention. I am good on a leash (of course!) and I don't potty in the house. I am okay in a crate when my foster mom is gone. I've been staying at my grand-foster-dad's house to get some meat on my bones.  I like it there, too. They have possums to scare away at night!!! Please consider adopting me into your home. I am such a good girl, and am waiting for the chance to show someone just how wonderful a little English girl can be! Courtesy post - AR.
