Hi, my name is THIBADEAUX and I am four years young. I am a big boy, but am only a little overweight. My foster mom shaved all my hair off because my coat was such a mess when I came into rescue. I do feel better now, but I look funny. She says that my hair will grow back... I sure hope so! I've included a picture of me before I got shaved so you can see just how much coat I will have after my hair grows back.
I love other dogs and play well with them after I get to know them. My foster mom was happy that it only took me one day to start playing with the other furkids. I love my tennis balls and toys. I play by myself or you can throw the ball for me, or even play tug with me. I even give the ball back to you so you can throw it again (and again, and again, and again, and again...)
I am crate trained, housetrained, and always let you know when I have to go out. I go to the door and stand there until you notice me. My foster mom leaves me loose in the house during the day when she is at work, and I have not touched anything that was not mine... yet!
My foster mom says I am super sweet and well-socialized. I do not beg for food or pig out when eating. I even share if the other dogs want my food.
I was taken to the beach last weekend and I got to run with the other furkids. I stayed with them, and even went in the ocean for a dip. We did discover that I do not like horses, though.
I was total velcro at first - you know, needing to be with my foster mom every minute for the first few days, but now I can stay outside in the yard without crying to come in. I can't wait until I find my very own forever home!
