Hey, there!! My name is TORCH, but you can call me TORI. I'm two years old and am very loving. I was incredibly skinny when my foster mom picked me up, and even though I eat and eat, I still have only gained a little bit of weight. My dog-ter says that's normal for a dog of my breeding and age (gee, I guess that means I'm pretty active!). I have lots and lots of energy, and I love to play with tennis balls! I will prance, and prance, and prance some more. I like walks, but need work on the leash cuz I do tend to pull a bit. Okay, I pull a lot, but I am willing to learn to do better!
I love everyone I meet - people that is. I do like cats and will only chase them if they run. I've been gentle with the kitties in my foster home - even the little itty bitty ones. My foster mom will let me sniff and play with them, but will not leave me alone with the little kittens.
I have a foster brother who I enjoy to play with at times, but I don't really need him. Sometimes I don't even want him around. I believe I should be the number one dog, so I take things away from him like treats and bones and his favorite sleeping places. Sometimes I get upset when I play with him, but he makes me do it. Regardless, I should probably be an only dog, though a very submissive dog may be okay.
I sleep in a crate and am very good about going into my crate and staying quiet in my crate. My foster mom says my ideal home will be active with someone home a lot to be with me. She says I am like the energizer bunny at times, though I do have some periods of relaxation (even active youngsters get worn out now and then). Did I mention I like to snuggle, too?
I'm lean, and I have a medium build. Sometimes I forget how big I really am, so my ideal family would probably not have any children under ten years, cuz really active big dogs can easily knock over young children. Oh, I love car rides, too!
