Howdy! I'm TRAVIS, and I'm two years old. I've already been through a lot in my life.  I started out as a huntin' dawg on a pay-to-hunt guide ranch. When I was really little, my mom got to go live with a lady who helps huntin' dawgs. I was sad when she left, but my mom was sick and needed better care than she was getting.

I don't really remember much about the place where I lived, 'cept we all lived in small pens or on heavy chains. That made my skinny neck hurt, havin' to hold up that chain and all of my brains, too! Then one day, the lady came back and got me and my sister and one of our friends. I was happy to be rid of that heavy chain, but not too thrilled about living in a kennel. I thought sweet young English boys had to go to some kind of finishing school where they would be taught inside dawg manners and stuff.

Another lady said she would take me and teach me how to be a dog. How
to be a dog?? I thought we were supposed to go to finishing school! Heck,
I already know how to be a dawg, regardless of how you spell it. When we
got to my new digs, boy was I excited cuz I was going to live in the house!
YIPPEE!!!!!! I am finally going to finishing school to learn the neat stuff that
all inside dogs know!

I've not started classes yet, 'cuz I had worms in my heart. I'm sorta thinkin'
that happens when dawgs don't have anyone special. Instead of my heart
filling with love, it got filled up with worms. My new mom has taken me to the dog-ter and he gave me some medicine for the worms in my heart. I'm to be calm for a few weeks until all the worms leave so that there will be lots of room in there for love when my new family finds me!

Being calm is a piece of cake for a sweet, easy-
going boy like me. I am learning to give hugs and
kisses and I am submissive to other dogs. I am
usually quiet in my crate (unless I need to go out),
and I don't usually get into mischief on my own
when I'm allowed some supervised time in the
house. I got to meet something called children and
I really liked the little people. They liked me, too,
'cuz I wasn't really rambunctious like their dawgs.
Gosh! I'm learning manners already, even without
                                                               finishing school!

I am kind of new at this leash thing, but my mom is
patient with me and she says I will get the hang of
it soon. As much as like this place, I know that I will
be moving one last time - this time to a home of
my very own, where I can stay furever! There can
be people of all sizes in my new home, cuz my
empty heart will need lots of really special people
to fill it with lots of love. That's not too much to ask for a fine English lad like me, is it?

I'm currently in AR, but am willing to travel for the perfect home! Just fill out an application, and soon I will be on my way to you.  See? I'm already doing my warm-ups so that I will be ready to roll.                     Online Application
